North Dakota has never been a land of overwhelming tolerance. Even growing up racism was almost casually joked about. Normally there isn't a lot of hate that accompanies the jokes, it's just the way people are around here. Lately, especially in Grand Forks (Which is a little too close to home), there have been more instances of violence. There was a shooting at a Wal-Mart, and now we're seeing local businesses targeted. A restaurant called Joba Coffee was marked with Nazi signs, and then last night was started on fire.
My question is, until we find out who did it an why, is this going to start becoming consistent around the US? Is this going to be a consistent product of people like Trump's hate speech?
