Would you say that sceptics are winning by mainstreeting their beliefs?

Judging from the news, Atheists are becoming about as main street as the legalization of pot in most places. They are in the front page news promoting their lack of beliefs. Would you say they are winning as compared to say your average believer who, if they are reported at all, are reported in a tired or negative way in the news.
