People often ask me what is the meaning of the word Papamundi? Papamundi means, literally from the Latin, the Pope of the World. Most people think of the Pope as the leader of the world Catholic Church. In the mind of the church, however, the Pope is supposed to be the ruler of both the spiritual and the temporal realms, in other words, everything. This is the meaning of the two keys in the Vatican flag. The Papamundi is the personage who will be enshrined in the third Temple of Jerusalem. Some would call this person the Antichrist. I don't believe in the Antichrist, so I call him the Papamundi. It is more of a joke on the fools who would do it, the Vatican.
