I have just recently noticed that something - perhaps Windows itself - is creating a metric buttload of folders in the root of my D: drive.
They have hard-to-prono0unce names like:
Most are empty, but a few contain subfolders with names like:
Tired of scrolling past the hundreds upon hundreds in the root folder, I tried to delete them all using Windows Explorer.
It successfully deleted most of them, but for more than one hundred, I received the error message "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder".
Unfortunately, I do not have the administrator password to my computer.
Any ideas on:
Any help would be appreciated,

Any ideas on:
- What is creating all of these folders? (I'm guessing it's IE)
- How can I stop it from creating more of them?
- How, short of formatting the drive, can I get rid of the ones which are already there?
Any help would be appreciated,
