Would you get the creeps by going to an authentic gypsy fortune teller?

I`m watching ME-tv right now and a guy went to one, and she asked him to gaze into her crystal ball...talking with that real gypsy accent.

Fortune telling. Black magic.

I would be kind of creeped out because depending on what she told me, it be on my mind and maybe certain things said would become self fulfilling.

like a Friday the 13th effect. Often at night i lay in bed and google stuff...so i think im going to see what google has to say about these people.

I wonder if any of these (usually women arent they?) fortune tellers have ever made a name for themselves.

Its amazing if all such stuff like this is a sham or scam, how this stuff gones on for years or centuries where people keep paying these people for their advice or elixers or whatever.

Has anybody here ever gone to any such person, even for a gag?

Where i live we have one with a sign out front. But like i said, i find something creepy about this. I think there is part of me that thinks there is some hidden dimension in the brain that we dont know about.

That perhaps there were/are real ones...but then phony ones try to get in on the money, then put doubt in peoples minds.

A similar argument has been made regarding crop circles. Ive heard it said that originally crop circles were made by aliens or orbs and then pranksters started making them.

Anyway, whats your thoughts?
