Below is a letter I've just mailed and emailed to Kim Jong-un. I will keep the JREF Forum updated as to my progress if The Chairman chooses to pledge.

Dear Mr. Chairman Kim Jong-un,
I am writing with the hope that you might consider pledging your support for my Kickstarter.com feature film project SAUCER KINGS . As your father was an avid motion picture enthusiast as well as a film producer, it is my hope that you might also share his interests, and that you might lend a hand to help fund my modest venture. Backing a comedy feature film will likely produce a positive shift in your perception in the West, which is no doubt colored by prejudice.
It would be relatively easy to secure a high profile position on the Kickstarter website which will resonate throughout the internet's news agencies, social media, and blogs for years to come, by contributing more to SAUCER KINGS than the American celebrity Zach Braff has for his project. This would place SAUCER KINGS (and you) right behind The Veronica Mars Movie. If you could see your way to $3,105,474 (US dollars), your position would be assured, and the production of Saucer Kings would be assured with your name as Executive Producer. Might I also point out that Kickstarter is now a major internet hub for new entrepeneurs around the world -- many of which I am sure would have their eyes turned to the possibilities of North Korea.
However, even a $5000 (US dollar) contribution would at least secure your name as Associate Producer on the film and ensure that the project stage as presented on the site is "funded". The deadline for funding is approaching fast and ends on Jan 31, 2014
Below is a link to the project http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/885578295/saucer-kings and below is a concept poster for the film as well as the logline.
Sincerely,
Trevor Markwart
