This comes up again and again from the right wing in their ongoing Sisyphusian battle against homosexuality.
Take this exchange from a conservative radio show hosted by Tony Perkins:
You know what else doesn't produce babies? Being celibate either voluntarily or involuntarily. Somehow that doesn't concern them. Instead they seem to worry about homosexuality becoming "normal" and no more babies being born. Which, among other things, overlooks that gay couples can conceive children thanks to surrogates and all.
More of the same from Mat Staver of Liberty Council
Of course this requires everyone to go gay in a world with no condoms.
But, more importantly, why do they think everyone will become gay? That was never the fight. The fight was for people to recognize that a percentage of the population is gay and should not be made to suffer because of it.
