I am confused. My new TV claims to be DLNA compliant, as does my Netgear Router. They seem to think this means different things. The Router seems to think this means all it has to do is serve up the files for streaming by the target, the target seems to think the server should be rendering the picture as well.
I have a Netgear CD3100D router,
Samsung UA55F6400 TV.
Are they both just implementing a part of the DLNA standard, and then claiming to be DLNA compliant.
The DLNA help page from the router.
The TV does not find the router.
