What animals have the most amazing eyes?

I suppose that all animals that have eyes at all have ones that are well suited to their particular lifestyle, but which ones are the most amazing?

Some are well-suited for seeing at night, better than we can. Some birds have "telescopic" vision apparently, and the mantis shrimp can see light in wavelengths that are invisible to us.

Would any of these things be useful to humans? Or are our eyes actually the best kind of eyes for our particular lifestyle? I suppose at the end of the day a function is only useful from an evolutionary perspective if it increases the chances of successful survival and reproduction. I think it would be cool to have night vision, telescopic eyes and the ability to see other wavelengths besides the narrow band that is visible to us, but it might not actually be an improvement from an evolutionary perspective?
