Preserving Iron Meteorites?

Howdy all,



I recently acquired a small iron meteorite from the Campo del Cielo group. It is 94% iron and 6% nickel, and I am concerned about preserving it properly from weathering, etc. I've read some conflicting accounts of what one should or should not do to preserve such a sample, so here I am. Can anyone give me advice or point me to reputable sources as to what to do?
