OpenOffice - alternatives?

I have had 3.3 installed for awhile now and recently the spell-checker has started acting up, so I figured what the heck, let's update to whatever build they have now.......then found out they stopped developing it. :(



Wiki says that "active successor projects include Apache OpenOffice, LibreOffice and NeoOffice." Anyone use these? Thoughts?
