3 million from expanded medicaid
3.9 million newly eligible on existing plans
That's a total of 9 million people who now have health insurance specifically because of the ACA. We need to just keep chanting "Fox, Fox, Fox" and keep praying towards Rush Limbaugh's broadcast studio and maybe a miracle will happen and civilization really will fall apart just as we've been hoping for and Glenn Beck has been saying will happen for the past five years. And, if that does happen then we'll be happy that we were right.
I understand that at times like this, the faith is hard to maintain. There's been no sign of the collapse of civilization--no sign at all. And, some unbelievers may claim that many of our Republican Governors will have to give in and expand Medicaid because the other federal supporting funds for hospitals were cut. Yeah, that sounds hard to refute. And, some other unbelievers will even say that more people will sign up before open enrollment ends on March 31st and that 2.1 million could increase to 5 million. And, that too is hard to refute. But, you have to keep the faith; you have to keep believing that people were just misled; they didn't really know what they wanted or what they were doing.
Now, friends, while the end of civilization would be gratifying to us all and would prove the real genius of Glenn Beck, there is only one other possible way. We have to somehow persuade 9 million people (as many people as live in the State of New Jersey) that they don't really need healthcare and that they should voluntarily give up their new insurance or we're going to end up with flesh eating zombies roaming the desolated streets of this once great nation.
