Slight twist on business spam

My company has a pretty good spam filter, but there has been a sudden influx of messages making it through, and just blocking the sending domain does not work. They are (probably) all legit businesses despite their spamming practice.

The distinguishing feature is that they have unique return addresses that are tied to the subject. For example, an email about computer storage best practices will be from Computer.Storage@BestPractices.com or one on firewall security might be from security.solutions@firewall.com.

They all seem to be managed mailings from acton.com. That is the only common thread, so I was able to create a spam rule that anything with a link to acton in the body would be automatically delivered to my spam folder. I don't often unsubscribe using the email link as that may only serve to validate my email address or at worst link to some malware.

Anyone running into similar or have thoughts on such practices?
