Sheriff's Deputies shoot and kill a 13 year old who was carrying a toy gun. This is the tragic but not terribly surprising (to me at least) result of the seeming pervasive attitude of police towards the citizenry. It seems that any perceived potential for injury is dealt with by the use of lethal force.
Any one else have any thoughts on this? Am I being unfair to the police?
