What is 'patriotic education'?
Will it involve teaching that Vicente Guerrero emancipated all slaves in Mexico in 1829?
Or that 95% of Texas’ economy was based on cotton production picked by slaves?
Or that the first thing that the First Congress of the Republic of Texas did in October 1836 was to overturn the Mexican prohibition of slavery?
Or that half of the Republic favoured the expulsion of Native Americans?
