I own an AR 15

I load ammo for it and shoot it at a target range. I enjoy shooting pumpkins and soda bottles with it. If I find a patch of overripe watermelons I shoot them. I'd hate to have to turn this weapon in as I feel it makes the house safer against home invaders.

These stories of people misusing these weapons distress me to no end.
