Just curious - has anyone come across this before? On a new laptop, there is one pixel that seems to show not what it should be showing, but what another pixel (much further down the screen, but in the same horizontal position) is showing.
(Actually, experimenting with colours that seems to be not quite true; it seems to duplicate the brightness but not the colour, though I suspect it may just be that it duplicates the green part.)
I assume it must be a hardware error rather than a driver problem; haven't managed to google it. I've seen stuck pixels a few times, but never this.
