What would a human discuss with an alien

Here's my scenario. A manned spaceship exploring outer space encounters a non-hostile alien spaceship. There is radio contact.

What would the two species talk about? Technology is one thing but how about other issues. You wouldn't be discussing girls or food or sports etc. So what would you be talking to each other about?
