Google Play

Between commute and travel, I needed FAR more space then a iPhone could provide so I bough into Andriod, popped in a 256GB chip loaded with my music library (about 12,000 songs so far), movies, etc.

For the longest time I simply used the stock player that came with my phone, which was fine. About 3 months ago there was an update, and my phone stopped sending TAG information to my car's Bluetooth enabled system...music played, but no title/artist/etc.

Not critical, but annoying...so I switched to Google Play and the TAG problem was solved. When it got to the tracks in 990s, I noticed it went back to track 1....I thought that odd but figured the phone or app had reset due to a update.

Then it did it again.

After some research the second time around, I came to find that Google Play has a queue limit of 1,000 - this has been a issue since 2014.

WHY!?!? Did anyone else notice this?

In the mean time, they issued an update for my stock player, it once again sends the proper TAG information to my car...so I switched back.
