It seems given the election and the rhetoric, we are more divided into than ever where left leaning urban populations view rural populations as racist right wing ultra Christians and rural populations view urban populations as elitist with heavy crime areas. The New York Times had a good article on the divisiveness of this but I can't find it now. I am not sure what the solution is but rhetoric like basket of deplorables and welfare moms is part of the problem.
Any thoughts? In my view, both parties engage in divisive rhetoric.
