If you could be a black community leader -- How would you make things better?

I want to start out by saying I do not wish this to turn into any sort of race bashing or baiting. I'd like a real discussion on how YOU would go about bringing positive change to the black community. (mostly speaking about the USA here -- but this applies in other countries as well)

If you could be a community leader - - if you could organize and gather media etc, what would you say and do? How would you go about making things better for the black community?
