The Kesha case. Women's rights violated? Nope.

Did not see a thread about this so here it goes. There are lots of liberal types crying out that Keshas rights as a woman are being violated and she is being victim shamed etc. celebrities are paying her legal fees and people have started a gofundme campaign to support their cause. The hashtag #freekesha has came up too. But to me it seems she does not have a legal leg to stand on, and claiming rape years later without substantiating evidence is not somehing that can be admissible in court. People seem to be claiming that she should be taken at her word. She is still being allowed to produce music and does not have to work with the accused producer. Sony simply wants her to honor a contract. Am I crazy in this one?

Quote:

Last week, a New York judge denied Kesha a court injunction that would have allowed her to record new music outside of her record label Sony Music and working with producer Dr. Luke.

What bolder attack could there be on women’s freedom, reproductive or otherwise, than telling a woman that she may not work – that she is not entitled to economic independence – unless she continues to do so with the man she alleges sexually and psychologically abused her for over a decade?
