Honegger Babble

What's the deal with Honegger? She was an obscure reporter and the navy graduate school who was recruited to a low level position in the Regan administration who believed the "October Surprise" was engineered by Richard Allen.

She then goes on to be an "expert" on the 9/11 incident at the Pentagon... interviewing other "experts" about what could or could not have happened. She makes claims such as... the twin towers were DESIGNED to withstand a 707 impact. Of course the towers were designed to carry the live loads and resist wind shear. The ability to sustain an jet impact was not part of the design criteria IIRC... but an after the fact calculation. The towers DID sustain the impact and the collapses appear very much to have been the result of the combination of loss of columns and the weakening, warping of the structure leading to failure to support the floors above the plane impacts which collapsed destroyed the floors below robbing the columns of latteral bracing leading to their collapse. She seems very fast and loose with her understanding of how the buildings collapse. But she considers Gage her go to guy on engineering.

If you want to hear here spiel... listen to / look for it on Guns and Butter with Bonnie Falkner.

She makes many other claims of what was impossible about the flights and the energy of impact of the plane.

Why is she taken seriously? She appears to have constructed her own reality which "sounds" consistent... but is built on some very very shakey (false) assumptions.

She's completely in the tank for bombs and the inside job and the whole use of the military exercise as cover... I find it absurd to believe that such a conspiracy was being run like clockwork (;-)) on 9/11.. yet the same insiders haven't one a war with their overwhelming power in 4 decades.

What say you?
