Warning over 'dodgy' allergy tests

Commercially available allergy tests have been reviewed and found to be inadequate in many cases.

The clinically valid tests they do recommend are:

- blood IgE testing,
- skin-prick testing
- challenge testing (only rarely done)

All of these need to be performed and interpreted by a qualified health professional.
Bioenergetic analysis and applied kinesiology were mentioned as being complete nonsense.

Good to see a story about this kind of thing being reported reasonably accurately.
