On top of the recent flap over the testing of various supplements by NY and NJ authorities.....
Testing has shown the presence of an amphetamine-like substance, BMPEA, in a range of supplement products intended for "weight loss" and also marketed as echinacia.
This stuff is on the "banned" list by various sports agencies and it's effects on humans have not yet been determined....But it is known to increase heart rate and blood pressure.
