Not sure this is the right sub-forum but it would appear the USPS has a new stamp honoring Maya Angelou and they attributed the wrong quote to her. How do people screw up this badly?

I bought a couple first day cover postcards incase they end up withdrawing the stamp. :D
Beyond that however, there's an interesting discussion of how quotes lose their initial attribution as they are repeated across the Net-uverse.

THIS week the United States Postal Service celebrated the life and work of Maya Angelou, unveiling a stamp with her portrait and a lyrical quotation. Unfortunately, the words on the stamp do not appear to have originally been uttered by the poet. Instead, they come from the children’s book author Joan Walsh Anglund.
