I am going back to school for IT/Networking at my local community college (so it's nothing overly impressive), and one aspect of the degree is that I will be "prepared to take the CCNA" certification.
My question is, does anyone here have the certification already? While I will be prepared, I don't physically get the certification upon graduating. I am more doing it to enter the world of desktop admin, database engineer, or something along those lines. Anyone have any feedback? Are the bonuses of getting the CCNA worth the cost and study time to acquire? I've asked a few people around here but I kind of get a "canned" answer.
