I am not in the habit of guessing people's names, occupations, hometowns, signs or anything of that sort. I mention this as some of you may say I am ignoring the misses and presenting a hit, but this was a onetime thing.
Many years ago I joined a new gym. I was doing triceps press-downs and another man strolled over and asked to work in on the machine. After a few sets with no dialogue, I looked him up and down and said "You remind me of the old TV western actor, Clint Walker." Now this guy was big, but was blonde and looked much more like Dudley Do-right, the fictional cartoon character. He wore no jewelry or monograms and no one else spoke to either one of us.
His eyes got very wide and he replied "That is my name!"
I said "Oh, your name is Clint?"
"My name is Clint Walker!" he exclaimed.
We became best friends for the next decade.
I can think of no possible trigger.
