Below will be two sentences, the second an equation for the first. All I want for answer is a simple "yes" or "no" since I'd not understand an explanation if you say 'yes' anyway. Not anyone's fault but mine.
Law of motion: Force equals mass times acceleration: F = ma.
Question: Do the following two sentences say the same thing despite the squared addition to the second?
Your brakes are trying to stop a car with a force of 7200 Newtons. Your car has a mass of 1200 kilos. Your deceleration would be 6 m/s every second.
7200 N = 1200 kg x 6 m/s²
