"EcoWatch" article on "Fukushima Children"

http://ift.tt/1kCz28B

This article claims that 48% of tested children have some kind of thyroid lesion, huge rates of thyroid cancer, etc.

The numbers look, well, questionable, to say the very least.

Some other interesting claims are that this is typical, like the rate at TMI.

It equates TMI with Chernobyl and Fukushima, as well, which is rather an interesting claim to say the least. I see no "red forest" either on the island itself, or downstream in anywhere along the river, nor on the banks, and it wasn't there a year after the accident, either. Lots of people boat on that river, and, well, there just wasn't any impact, despite the claims of this article.

No idea where this author got his numbers, but it would appear that there is a large dose of questionable claims here.

Anyone got the skinny on the author "Harvey Wasserman" or EcoWatch itself?
