The Oklahoma state legislature allowed a Ten Commandments monument to be erected on the Capitol grounds in 2012. They based their Constitutional end-run on the fact that the statue was paid for with private donations - paid for by State Representative Mike Ritze. The ACLU has launched a lawsuit. A Hindu group and a Satanist group each applied for similar consideration for their privately-funded monuments. The Satanists recently unveiled the statue they hope to place in Oklahoma City.

I have been told that the Satanist Temple will be using this statue to make a mold because they are concerned that the first few times the monument is erected, it may be destroyed or damaged.
