I take my BP meds first thing in the morning. But they seem to take two hours to work.
In reading about other digestive issues, seems that the stomach delays emptying until the contents meet various parameters- PH, proteins, etc. And since water is absorbed through the stomach wall, I'm thinking I might be left with a clump of gummy pills all stuck together.
So, seems to me there would be something that would already meet the GI specs for passing quickly into the intestines. Coffee w/ cream and sugar ain't it. Maybe Fruit juice? milk? egg nog? A shot of soy sauce? Gatorade? E) all of the above?
