IQ tests

My husband and I have applied for SSI disability for our almost 20 year old intellectually disabled son. JR has been in special ed since first grade. We attempted mainstreaming him in kindergarten, but it didn't work. He had IQ tests (WISC-III) done at the ages of 10 and 13 with overall scores of 56 and 50 respectively.

Now, the Social Security Administration has declared he must have another one before they will make a decision on his case. So my questions to you wonderful people are:

Do any of you have experience with the Weschler Intelligence tests (WISC and WAIS)?

How comparable should his earlier tests be to his current IQ?

How long should the test take?

His appointment is next Wednesday.
