Chicago Med recently, Maggie (? the head nurse diagnosed with breast cancer, who didn’t want any colleagues to know so she goes to an infusion center well away to get her chemo) is seen at the end of a chemo infusion walking away as if all she had was a blood test draw.
WTF!?!
Do any of you know, from first or second hand experience, if this even remotely possible, here on Earth, today?
FWIW, I know dozens, probably hundreds, of people who are having, or have recently had, infusion chemo (central line, like Maggie, or PICC), and even with all the will in the world, you cannot possibly do a full shift as a nurse immediately afterwards.
