Slack-based automation

Turning up lots of irrelevance and dead links so:

We use slack at work and one channel is set for live alerts from our AWS environment. There's a lot of noise and things get missed etc.

What would really work is something that reads that slack channel and filters posts* and maintains some kind of state table for various types of things. For example a list of errors and their reversals. A particular example is we get daily feeds from vendors and will occasionally get a 1 liner saying "Service A marked as disabled" Easy to miss. Later we get a "Service A now ready". Ideally a finite state machine because I like them but an array, a webpage whatever all good.
I'm a bit busy to learn how to write my own bot but a sample that's vaguely close would be good.
End goal : support staff can look at "thing" or run command "x" and see current state. If it also made good coffee that would be nice.

* I have some keyword filtering already in place

PS I already have little scraps of automation on the Amazon RDP boxes we access the environment in and some on the linux servers and free rein so pretty much anything goes.
