Computer generated content about stocks? Is this fraud?

I invest in several stocks and made Google alerts so that I know immediately when something pops up in the news.

But I quickly noted that a lot of that content is not written by an analyst, but instead looks like data compiled in a somewhat readable article by an AI.

No biggy, I guess. I've known that reports of sports competitions are often written by AI. All the AI has to do is report who won, who scored etc and present the information in a readable format.

But the articles are appearing on obscure websites that look like old URL's that were not originally intended for financial information.

Case in point: the Essex Caller: http://essexcaller.com/

All the articles are written by Caroline Biscotti. the only person by that name I can find is a volunteer at a hospital and doesn't seem to be involved in finance at all.

Here is an example of an 'article':

What is the purpose of these websites? Is it for SEO? Pumping stocks? cheaply generating content and making money on the ads? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
