I opened this thread for people with schizophrenia, or psychosis to discuss their voices for comparison and contrast.
I can start it out, I am diagnosed schizo-affective (undefined). I no longer hear voices or have delusions but do take meds, which, I feel have made my mind smarter, and more efficient. Though, I do not have the time to research it right now for you, I feel this is backed up by science based on some reasonably reputable material I have found on the internet.
My voices, when I had them, were very unusual in that they were never the same, and they had no idea what the other voices were saying. A very small number appeared to be of foreign origin based on the questions they asked. I would be very interested in the experiences of anybody else in this catagory since I have never run across it.
