I have been reading the multiple claims of the various CTers who post here, and it struck me that each, on its own, is, to an extent, coherent and, well, plausible may be the wrong word, but you get what I mean: there is some kind of case that has been made.
However, taken as a whole, I am finding it very difficult to make sense of the overall picture. Many of the claims contradict each other. For example:
Malbec posted that the Flat Earth theory was (IIRC) "erudite and intellectually challenging", and then a few days later posted something about proof that the Earth was hollow. It clearly can't be flat and a hollow sphere at the same time.
Then there are the aliens. We are told that they exist, and that they destroyed a sizeable US fleet in the Antarctic- so presumably they are hostile. However, we are also told that the US is working with the aliens, and has constructed huge (6 km-long) spaceships. So they aren't hostile. NASA is concealing evidence of these aliens, yet routinely releases video showing what we are told are unmistakeably UFOs/ alien ships. How can all these be true, and how does it benefit the conspirators?
Then there's the NWO/ Illuminati thing. There is a secret organistaion that apparently wants to brainwash and control humanity, yet also wants to kill most of humanity. There is surely no point in brainwashing those you are going to kill anyway.
This supposedly is in the name of profit for the military-industrial complex who are "coming for your guns!" But why would major corporations conspire to kill or impoverish almost all their potential customers? Why destroy a 350-million-strong market for guns by confiscating them all? Why collude to hide cures for diseases, cures that would be extremely profitable for your (pharmaceutical) company? Why aren't the other members of the MIC complaining about their workers getting sick, and thus reducing profits, from conditions that could be cured?
So, I would like to extend an invitation to any and all of the CT-leaning members here to post an overall theory of what they think is going on. How do all these separate strands come together? What is the big picture?
I, for one, would really like to know.
