I suppose the default advice might well be "never reheat leftover rice" but it strikes me as dumbing-down the issue. Treat it properly and leftover rice is fine, and in fact the rice article hints at what *not* to do. On the other hand I've read that poorly handled leftover rice is the biggest source of stomach bugs in the UK, what with the popularity of takeaway Chinese and Indian food.
I never knew that I shouldn't reheat turnips though. This might change the stew-making strategy I've been using for decades ;)
