I've always liked Barry Beyerstein's thought that skepticism was kind of like a "Consumer Reports of the Mind" and I wish more people would have followed up on that connection. I think it's a good way to reach those who might ordinarily dismiss skepticism.
Are there skeptics out there that have pursued that line thinking since Beyerstein's death? Has anyone made a more explicit link to actual Consumer Reports when warning about homeopathic treatments and other such hustles?
Thanks for any info you fine folks can provide!
