Bavarian Illuminati "original letters"

Need help in translating a part of the original letters written in old german. Trying to figure out if the sentence means he is working with the Jesuits?? If I remember the story correctly, Weishaupts right hand man quit after thinking he was an undercover Jesuit. I had a German writing professor translate. This is his translation:

Es muß dann a la Jesuite keine einzige die Absicht auf Religion oder Staat verrathende zweydeutige Zeile vorkommen: alles hand in hand vorbereitend, nichts ohne Ursach.

Then, a la Jesuite, no single ambiguous line, betraying the intenetion of religion or state must appear: everything preparing hand in hand, nothing without cause.

does it mean "with the Jesuits" kinda like "a la mode" means with ice cream?
