So some people want to pass laws to make it so trans women cannot use women's bathrooms and trans men cannot use men's bathrooms.
You can look at this from the POV of trans people, and the answer is obvious. But what about cisgendered women and girls. Supposedly this law is to make them feel more comfortable by not having to share the restroom with trans women.
But have they considered that if women and girls are uncomfortable having a trans woman in the women's bathroom, would they be comfortable with a trans man in the women's bathroom? Because that what the law would mean. People who look like this would be legally required to use the women's bathroom:
