Specifically: are current Skeptical outreach programs 'fact based'? Are they capable of achieving their objectives?
This is related to my thoughts on the [Drawing the line between free speech and skepticism] thread. How much of what organized skepticism does is simply for the members' personal entertainment and therefore external outcomes (ie: changing the public's mind about something like healthfraud) don't really matter anyway?
