Many cases are easy. The perpetrator admits to the crime easily and/or there is solid evidence of them committing the crime.
I have heard numbers of 5% of people in prison are wrongfully convicted with some groups giving larger numbers.
The issue I have is how large a percentage of the "Hard Trials" is this. If we assume that 80% of all trials are "Easy Trails", then that means that 25% of the hard trials may go wrong.
Thoughts on this and has there been any attempt to quantify the issue in this respect?
