Everyone has a horrible day now and then, it's life. If a tragedy happens to the same person on, say July 17th 1988, for example, and another tragedy happens on July 17 1991, it is a mildly interesting coincidence.
However, what if it becomes so repetitive that it seems uncanny? Say a person has, during his 43 year lifetime, experienced 14 July17ths where a form of significant loss or injury has occurred. It began with his father dying when he was 3yrs old. The other 13 of those dates included a serious accident, death of a child, a best friend, emergency surgery, being told by his wife she wanted a divorce. Serious bad days.
I guess I'm just curious how rare this is. I am not suggesting there is any thing paranormal like astrology, I just find it interestingly uncanny. And yes, it is an anecdote, but I have known this person for all of his life, and know these things to be true.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
