As a Apollo enthusiast I have been trying to find F-1 engine documents, for instance the 320 meg breakdown file along with other smaller documents on the engine. I know that these were available until recently.
This is obviously out of personal interest of the historical interest that these hold.
These have suddenly vanished as far as I can see, all links to the NTRS draw a blank saying it can't be found. Surely the US government cannot have decided that files that were available as early as last year are suddenly dangerous; after all I might decide to build a Saturn V in my 30ft garden. Also, do they really think that any government that wanted them would not have them in the 40 years since Apollo.
Am I being stupid in my search or is this just sudden paranoia on the side of the US government?
