Is this the same ISIS that got their posteriors handed to them by Hezbollah in Syria? How the hell is that possible?
The Iraqi army could have been a tad more proactive fighting these guys IMHO. With all that US equipment and training.
This warrants a very unpleasant intervention on the part of the US or possibly Iran, I think. Anything is better than a more-radical-than-AQ warlord-state.

- Iraq's second city is now in the hands of ISIS
- AQ distanced themselves from ISIS for being just a bit too nutty and violent
- The Iraqi army just dropped their weapons and ran for it.
- They left a whole bunch of US-supplied weapons and armoured vehicles for ISIS
