Forensic science not science?

This author contends that much of the forensic "science" that is presented to juries as the basis for sending people to prison and even death row has not been tested and proven by normal scientific standards, and often is inherently biased in favor of the prosecution, particularly when prosecutors can tell analysts what results they are looking for:
