"Encourages Risky Behavior"

Various states have legislation proposing that paramedics and other first-responders be able to carry the drug Naxalone, which is a life-saving item for people suffering from a heroin overdose.

Evidently, it can quickly reverse the effects.

However, opponents of this seeming no-brainer say that it would "encourage risky behavior".

"Sorry, Bud, but you chose to inject so...By-bye."

I recall such brainless arguments used in regards to seat belts, air-bags, and motorcycle helmets as well.
