Thought this would a 'science' question, but it could just as well be 'general topics'.
Had my goldfish overwinter in my outside pond, and it made it to spring. Turned on the fountain again (water from statue going into the pond), and have noticed some odd behaviors from the fish since doing so. Have also added a floating plant, that is anchored in the middle of the pond via string and a brick.
1. fish charges into the stream of water of repeatedly. Like, all day.
2. Is now pushing the floating plant around.
So: what's up with all this, anyone? Is it having 'fun'? Or being driven by instinct to do 'something'? Wasn't doing this stuff last year.
